Growing up, my ambition was to be a rock critic until I discovered that I could make even less money in comics. After dropping out of high school, which I have never once regretted, I earned a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design and an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. I live in Los Angeles, where I teach painting and drawing and have a complicated relationship with the Dodgers.
